Hi, I'm Bailey!

I'm the artist behind Desert Palette - a private beauty studio in Santa Barbara specializing in brows, lashes, cosmetic tattooing, fine line tattoos, and thoughtful, personalized beauty.

Art has always been at the center of my life. With a background in Fine Art and a passion for creating work that's both beautiful and meaningful, I found my way into the beauty industry as a licensed esthetician in 2019 before continuing my education in cosmetic tattooing through Fuzion Artistry.

My path here wasn't exactly traditional.

After becoming licensed, I spent a season living and working in Yellowstone National Park. Surrounded by mountains, wildlife, and endless landscapes, I found a deeper appreciation for creativity, intentional living, and the beauty found in natural details.That experience continues to influence both my artwork and the way I approach every appointment.

When I returned to California, I began building my career in cosmetic tattooing before eventually making my way to Santa Barbara. Since then, I've continued expanding my education through advanced training in brow artistry, lash lifts and laminations, eyelash extensions, facial waxing, and cosmetic tattooing. In 2023, I opened my own private studio - a space where I could create an experience that feels calm, welcoming, and completely personalized for every client.

Whether I'm creating a custom set of brows, a meaningful fine line tattoo, or helping someone simplify their daily routine through cosmetic tattooing, my goal is always the same: to create work that feels authentic to you.

Outside the studio, you'll usually find me hiking, camping, photographing landscapes, or exploring California's deserts and mountains. Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration, and it's the heart behind the name Desert Palette. I believe creativity exists everywhere, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to share mine with every client who walks through my door.
